They swarm over a magnificent cluster of massive lakeside rain trees right in front of the hotel. The name of the hotel is influenced by these trees. The guests can enjoy a beautiful 360 degree panoramic view of the lake, ancient temples and nearby mountain ranges from a vantage point on the top of the hotel, which is 20 meters above the ground. At sunset, guests can enjoy a drink (Sundowner) as thousands of flying foxes (fruit bats) leave the rain trees and fly past the hotel. At Kirinda sea beach you can swim in the Indian Ocean.
